Gospel Tracts

A small piece of paper or booklet with Gospel-rich scripture in it or on it. The purpose of a Gospel tract is to allow the possessor to quickly pass it out for the recipient to read later.

Hand these out wherever you go. Place them where people can find them easily. A really simple sentence you can say is, “Excuse me sir/ma’am – did you get one of these?” You can also simply smile and say, “Here you go,” as you hand them the tract.

Most people take one. If you are in a large crowd with a flow of people walking by – people tend to watch what others do in front of them. So if someone sees you hand something to the crows as they walk by and someone says no – a significant amount of people behind them who saw the rejection will follow suit. The opposite is true too, however. If someone accepts a tract, the flow of people behind them are more likely to take one from you. So if someone rejects a tract from you, simply stop and let a few pass who were behind them and then start again. Ultimately God is in control so do what the Lord leads you to.
